1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of software, website content, and related services offered by felfel (UAE) through felfel.studio, including JSONBetter (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  1. "Seller" means felfel (UAE).
  2. "Software" means JSONBetter and related deliverables.
  3. "License" means the limited right to use the Software under these Terms.
  4. "You" and "Customer" mean the individual or legal entity accepting these Terms.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

  1. You represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  2. You are responsible for all activity occurring through your purchase, license key, and authorized devices.
  3. You must provide accurate billing and contact information to complete purchases and support requests.

4. License Grant and Restrictions

4.1 License Grant

Subject to payment and ongoing compliance with these Terms, Seller grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for your internal lawful purposes.

4.2 Trial and Entitlement Rules

  1. JSONBetter includes a seven (7) day free trial.
  2. Core actions lock after trial expiry until activation of a valid license.
  3. Each paid entitlement includes up to three (3) active devices per license.

4.3 Restrictions

  1. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or distribute the Software.
  2. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass licensing, trial, or seat controls, except where mandatory law expressly permits it.
  3. You may not use the Software in any unlawful manner or to infringe third party rights.

5. Fees, Taxes, and Payment Processing

  1. The billing model for JSONBetter is a one-time purchase (no subscription), unless explicitly stated otherwise on the pricing page.
  2. Paddle acts as merchant of record for card processing, invoicing, tax collection, and related payment operations.
  3. You authorize Paddle and its payment partners to process charges according to the order you place.
  4. Pricing, tax treatment, and currency conversion are determined at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

Seller and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software code, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

7. Support and Updates

  1. Seller may provide updates, patches, and documentation changes at its discretion.
  2. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through support@felfel.studio.
  3. Seller is not obligated to maintain compatibility with every third-party environment, editor, or operating system version.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seller will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business.
  2. Seller's total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by you for JSONBetter in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Seller from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Service.

11. Suspension and Termination

  1. Seller may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, non-payment, security risk, or material breach.
  2. On termination, your license ends immediately and you must cease use of affected software and activation credentials.
  3. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including liability limits and governing law) will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Subject to mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, the courts of Dubai, UAE, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

Seller may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when published at this URL unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
